Any UVs I get that are Medium or better I sell on my main to put some of that money into my pocket.Īlso, how good is your gear right now? I don't think you should worry about UVs until you're at least in full 4* gear. If I end up losing money, that's not too bad, since regenerating mist will ensure that I never run out of funds completely. I sell those on the AH, and the money I get back gets thrown back into mats and energy so I can craft more wolver coats.

So essentially what I did was make a small investment by throwing some money and mats to the alt, and then I self-sufficently sell the gear I'm trying to UV craft. Since I payed for some CE, the mist energy isn't shared. Something I do is that I have an alt account setup for crafting UV gear. Trying to craft specific UVs is a complete gamble, so that's something to keep in mind. Buying any Medium or High gear you need is a smart idea. High is almost just as good and it's so much cheaper. I really think Spiral Knights is one of the few examples of a good F2P game.I would never recommend buying UV max gear. In the end though, it will let you enjoy the game much more without having to spend real money to enjoy it.

Furthermore, the party reviving system was very well made (you can spend the real-life-money currency, or give half your health to revive a party member), and now it's being replaced with one free revive per floor. Personally, I have mixed feelings about this, because the limit on your playing actually made dungeon runs very intense, and wiping was a big deal. Now you can play indefinitely without having to worry about stopping.

The game was balanced very well in the beginning for free players (you can buy the real-life-money currency with in-game-money currency), but it eventually got a little too taxing to play completely free in my opinion. However, the main problem I had with the game was the "energy limit" that basically meant you can only do one dungeon run a day without paying money. The game as a whole is quite charming, and has quite a few innovative ideas. It was a really fun game that required quite a bit of skill and party cooperation in harder levels. I spent a lot of time in Spiral Knights when it first came out. /r/GamePhysics - Clips of game physics shining and glitchingĭesign based on /r/FlatBlue created by /u/creesch./r/gaming4gamers - middle ground between purely-for-fun and more serious subreddits./r/GamingLeaksAndRumours - Leaks and Rumors.Posting unmarked spoilers will result in removal and warning, and posting spoilers with malicious intent will result in a ban.
